Type specimen: NHMW 1977/1865 (almost complete left maxilla). Its type locality is Zapfe's fissures, which is in a MN 6 fissure fill horizon in Slovakia.

Ecology: ground dwelling insectivore-carnivore

Distribution: found only at Zapfe's fissures
