Type specimen: MCSN 8418, a skeleton. Its type locality is Valle di Sceltrich, which is in a Ladinian carbonate lime mudstone in the Meride Formation of Switzerland.
Ecology: planktonic suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Valle di Sceltrich
