Sister taxa: Eogunnarites alaskaensis, Eogunnarites unicus

Type specimen: UCLA 28664. Its type locality is UCLA loc. 3775, North Fork Cottonwood Creek, which is in a Cenomanian marine conglomerate in the Budden Canyon Formation of California.

Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore

Distribution:
