Type specimen: LFGT-ZLJ0033, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Duwafang Village, which is in a Sinemurian terrestrial horizon in the Lufeng Formation of China.
Ecology: planktonic suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Duwafang Village
