Type specimen: Geological Museum of China, Beijing, IVy0645. Its type locality is Hanpoling, Zhenqiong, which is in a Floian marine horizon in the Hongshiya Formation of China.
Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Hanpoling, Zhenqiong
