Type specimen: Geological Museum of China, Beijing, IVy0662. Its type locality is Daigu, Mengzi, which is in an Emsian marine horizon in the Pochiao Formation of China.
Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Daigu, Mengzi
