Type specimen: NIGPAS 58508. Its type locality is Dakang, Zhongba, which is in a Jurassic fluvial-lacustrine horizon in the Ziliujing Formation of China.
Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Dakang, Zhongba
