Type specimen: NIGPAS 47603. Its type locality is Guanyintan, Qiyang (Guanyintan Formation), which is in a Jurassic fluvial-lacustrine horizon in the Guanyintan Formation of China.
Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Guanyintan, Qiyang (Guanyintan Formation)
