Type specimen: IZ NAS RK 35(10)/1843, a tooth (Left m1). Its type locality is K10, Zertsalo, which is in an Eocene terrestrial sandstone in the Aksyir Formation of Kazakhstan.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at K10, Zertsalo
