Belongs to Weichangella according to Yu and Yao 1980

Type specimen: Institute of Geology, Chinese Academy of Geosciences, Beijing, WS7707-1. Its type locality is Shalingou, Weichang, which is in a Cretaceous fluvial-lacustrine horizon in the Xiguayuan Formation of China.
Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Shalingou, Weichang
