Type specimen: Geological Museum of China, IVy0695. Its type locality is Yueliangping, Jianchuan (Maichuqing Formation), which is in a Rhaetian marine horizon in the Maichuqing Formation of China.
Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Yueliangping, Jianchuan (Maichuqing Formation)
