Belongs to Isocardioides according to Fan 1963
Sister taxa: none
Type specimen: Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, 00849. Its type locality is Xiaoshui, Lechang (Xiaoping Fm), which is in a Triassic marine horizon in the Xiaoping Formation of China.
Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Xiaoshui, Lechang (Xiaoping Fm)
