Type specimen: LPB 1993-2, a partial skull. Its type locality is Counillonia and Repelinosaurus Type Locality, which is in a Triassic floodplain claystone in the Purple Claystone Formation of Laos.

Distribution: found only at Counillonia and Repelinosaurus Type Locality
