Sister taxa: Conchodus elkneri, Conchodus jerofejewi, Conchodus ostreaformis, Conchodus plicatus
Type specimen: U. S. Nat. Mus. 13812, a set of teeth. Its type locality is Cross Mountain, which is in a Devonian peritidal sandstone in Colorado.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Cross Mountain
