Sister taxon: Odontostomia vacavillensis
Type specimen: UCMP 30604, a shell. Its type locality is UCMP 3573 - NW of Vacaville, which is in a Ypresian offshore shale in California.
Ecology: epifaunal carnivore
Distribution: found only at UCMP 3573 - NW of Vacaville
