Type specimen: PVL 6579, an other (Maxillary fragment and nearly complete mandible). Its type locality is El Molino, which is in a Messinian/Zanclean terrestrial sandstone in Argentina.
Ecology: scansorial grazer
Distribution: found only at El Molino
