Type specimen: RGM 632073, a maxilla (left maxilla). Its type locality is Russel-Tiglia-Egypte pit, which is in a Pleistocene fine channel fill sandstone in the Netherlands.

Ecology: amphibious carnivore

Distribution: found only at Russel-Tiglia-Egypte pit
