Type specimen: AM F.136849, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Talbragar Fossil Fish Bed (AM collection), which is in a Tithonian lacustrine - small siliciclastic in Australia.

Distribution: found only at Talbragar Fossil Fish Bed (AM collection)
