Type specimen: MSNM V3664, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is "Salnova" quarry, Saltrio, which is in a Sinemurian open shallow subtidal packstone in the Saltrio Formation of Italy.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at "Salnova" quarry, Saltrio
