Type specimen: UFMA. 1.10.1960, a set of vertebrae. Its type locality is Itapeua beach, which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial siltstone in the Alcântara Formation of Brazil.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at Itapeua beach
