Type specimen: DNHM D3012, a skeleton (A nearly complete, naturally articulated skeleton with skull and lower jaws). Its type locality is Lujiatun village, Shangyuan [general] (other), which is in a Barremian/Aptian fluvial-lacustrine horizon in the Yixian Formation of China.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore-omnivore

Distribution: found only at Lujiatun village, Shangyuan [general] (other)
