Type specimen: IVPP V22775, a partial skeleton (A partial semi-articulated postcranial skeleton preserved in a slab.). Its type locality is Sihedang, Lingyuan, which is in an Aptian lacustrine mudstone/shale in the Jiufotang Formation of China.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Sihedang, Lingyuan
