Type specimen: PIMUZ A/I 4402, a skeleton. Its type locality is Candelaria Hills, eastern portion, which is in a Dienerian offshore shale in the Candelaria Formation of Nevada.

Ecology: nektonic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Candelaria Hills, eastern portion
