Type specimen: IGPS 73767. Its type locality is Shohoji temple, which is in a Jurassic marine limestone in the Torinosu Limestone Formation of Japan.
Ecology: slow-moving low-level epifaunal grazer-omnivore
Distribution: found only at Shohoji temple
