Type specimen: TsNIG Museum, No. 3/11012. Its type locality is Temir-Baba, Drill Hole 1, 3784-3791m, southern Mangyshlak, which is in a Triassic marine horizon in the Dolnapinskaya Formation of Kazakhstan.
