Type specimen: Its type locality is North face of quarry at Missouri Gulch, north of Woodland Park, which is in a Gasconadian carbonate limestone in the Manitou Limestone Formation of Colorado
Ecology: nektonic carnivore
Distribution:

• Tremadoc of Canada (9: British Columbia), Kazakhstan (1), South Korea (4), United States (5: Colorado, Virginia)
