Type specimen: NWUV1404, a maxilla (right upper jaw with teeth). Its type locality is Shajingyi, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial mudstone in the Ganjiatan Formation of China.
Ecology: semifossorial insectivore-carnivore
Distribution: found only at Shajingyi
