Type specimen: MPH 0114, a partial skull (partial skull and fragment of the dorsal carapace corresponding to the most antero-lateral region). Its type locality is Las Antenas Militares, which is in a Pliocene terrestrial sandstone in the Vorohué Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: ground dwelling omnivore

Distribution: found only at Las Antenas Militares
