Type specimen: n. 2-69 of MLP, a partial skull (posterior part of skull). Its type locality is Section VI, fraction C, lot 16 - 6 leagues N of the streams / barrancas, which is in a Huayquerian terrestrial horizon in the Río Negro Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at Section VI, fraction C, lot 16 - 6 leagues N of the streams / barrancas
