Type specimen: PVL 4795, an osteoderm (región lateral izquierda del caparazón, 33 placas fijas, 42 móviles, 30 placas del escudete cefálico aisladas y restos postcraneanos fragmentarios; todo el mate). Its type locality is Northern region of Cajon Valley, which is in a Huayquerian terrestrial horizon in the El Morterito Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: ground dwelling insectivore
Distribution: found only at Northern region of Cajon Valley
