Type specimen: USNM 528370, an exoskeleton (nearly whole exoskeleton). Its type locality is TH Pit, which is in a Dyeran open shallow subtidal siltstone/sandstone in the Poleta Formation of Nevada.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore

Distribution: found only at TH Pit
