Type specimen: LACMIP 13253, a shell. Its type locality is Canyon River gravel bar, which is in an Oligocene basinal (carbonate) limestone in the Lincoln Creek Formation of Washington.

Ecology: epifaunal carnivore

Distribution: found only at Canyon River gravel bar
