Type specimen: LACMIP 12274, a shell. Its type locality is Murdock Creek mouth, near, which is in a Rupelian/Chattian basinal (siliceous) mudstone in the Pysht Formation of Washington.
Ecology: epifaunal carnivore
Distribution:
• Oligocene of United States (15: Washington collections)
Total: 15 collections each including a single occurrence
