Type specimen: Its type locality is Taylors Mill Creek (Richards), which is in a Rupelian deep subtidal ramp limestone in the Chickasawhay Formation of Mississippi
Ecology: slow-moving semi-infaunal carnivore
Distribution: found only at Taylors Mill Creek (Richards)
