Sister taxa: Phanerogramma australis, Phanerogramma dunstani, Phanerogramma gouldsbroughi, Phanerogramma heeri
Type specimen: BRSMG Cf. 24653, a tegmen. Its type locality is Aust Cliff, Insect layer (BRSMG collection), which is in a Rhaetian estuary/bay limestone in the Cotham Formation of the United Kingdom.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Aust Cliff, Insect layer (BRSMG collection)
