Type specimen: CDUE 801a-b, a partial skeleton (Type is part and counterpart of anterior skeleton with com- bined aspect of ventral and dorsal skull). Its type locality is CDUE locality 83, which is in a Stephanian A/Stephanian B lacustrine mudstone in the El Menizla Formation of Morocco.
Ecology: amphibious carnivore
Distribution: found only at CDUE locality 83
