Type specimen: CNU-NEU-NN2013010, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Daohugou (CNU 2013 collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China.

Distribution: found only at Daohugou (CNU 2013 collection)
