Type specimen: DMNH EPV.65879, a maxilla (partial L maxilla). Its type locality is Burrow Cliff, DMNH loc. 4340, which is in a Norian/Rhaetian coarse channel fill siltstone/conglomerate in the Chinle Formation of Colorado.
