Belongs to Ypshna according to S. B. Archibald and R. A. Cannings 2019
Sister taxon: Ypshna brownleei
Type specimen: TRU F-1050/151, a forewing. Its type locality is McAbee (University College of the Cariboo TRU coll), which is in a Ypresian lacustrine - large mudstone in Canada.
Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore
Distribution:
• Eocene of Canada (2: British Columbia collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
