Type specimen: BGEG WCP 10078. Its type locality is Wachangpo, Qingyan (BGEG collection), which is in a Pelsonian/Illyrian coastal mudstone/limestone in the Qingyan Formation of China.
Ecology: stationary low-level epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Wachangpo, Qingyan (BGEG collection)
