Type specimen: BD 12524, a valve (Ventral valve external and internal mold). Its type locality is B-10 Namurian fauna, Pa Samed Formation, Thailand, which is in a Namurian submarine fan sandstone/shale in the Pa Samed Formation of Thailand.
