Type specimen: USTL BFI 1927, a set of postcrania (Coracoide gauche presque complet). Its type locality is La Bouffie, which is in a Priabonian karst phosphorite in France.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at La Bouffie
