Type specimen: YM-UTPL 002 and YM-INPC-014-017, a set of postcrania. Its type locality is Yamana, which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial sandstone in the Río Playas Formation of Ecuador.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at Yamana
