Sister taxon: Nurhachius ignaciobritoi

Type specimen: BPMC-0204, a partial skeleton (skull, mandible and seven cervical vertebrae). Its type locality is Dapingfangzhen, which is in an Aptian terrestrial horizon in the Jiufotang Formation of China.

Ecology: volant piscivore

Distribution: found only at Dapingfangzhen
