Type specimen: CM 37486, a mandible (Left dentary with i1, m1-m3). Its type locality is Cook Ranch, which is in an Orellan terrestrial horizon in the Sage Creek Formation of Montana.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Cook Ranch
