Type specimen: MSNM i7606, a carapace. Its type locality is Osteno, which is in a Bucklandi lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Lombardische Kieselkalk Formation of Italy.
Ecology: infaunal carnivore
Distribution: found only at Osteno
