Type specimen: YPM 1120, a leaf. Its type locality is Minas de Petroleo (Wieland coll), which is in a Carnian lacustrine delta plain shale/claystone in the Potrerillos Formation of Argentina.
Distribution: found only at Minas de Petroleo (Wieland coll)
