Type specimen: MLP 55-IV-28-1, a mandible (porcion di rama mandibular izquierda con el incisivo y m1-m2). Its type locality is Barrancas del Arroyo Chasicó, which is in a Chasicoan terrestrial horizon in the Arroyo Chasicó Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: fossorial herbivore
Distribution: found only at Barrancas del Arroyo Chasicó
