Type specimen: PVL 7583, a mandible (left dentary with m2–3). Its type locality is Aguas Chiquitas, which is in a Paleocene terrestrial horizon in the Río Loro Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: scansorial insectivore

Distribution: found only at Aguas Chiquitas
