Type specimen: SGM-AVE-2017001, a skeleton. Its type locality is Pigeon Hill, near Taipingqiao village, which is in an Aptian terrestrial siltstone in the Longjiang Formation of China.

Distribution: found only at Pigeon Hill, near Taipingqiao village
